The PTA plays a vital role in the life of school.  Our formal aim is "to advance the education of the pupils in the school".  This covers both fundraising and having fun - for pupils, staff and parents!  All money raised is used on projects which directly benefit children throughout the school.  We're not just buying luxuries either: the school relies on us to fund a whole range of items which can't be funded from the council.  As a parent or teacher at the school, you are already a member of the PTA.  The more people who help out, the more events we can put on and the more money we can raise.

There are 3 ways you can get involved with the PTA:

1) Attend committee meetings and help plan our fundraising.  Meeting dates are always published here well in advance.  Why not come along and find out what we're doing?  All parents and teachers are always most welcome and no ongoing commitment is required.

2) Volunteer to help out at events.  We hold many events throughout term during the school day, at evenings and at weekends, and they simply can't happen without people to run them.  If you are happy for us to get in touch about events, please contact us with your details.  Again, no ongoing commitment is required.
